Granger is a 26-year-old Mustang gelding. He came to the sanctuary in the summer of 2007. Granger
was the rescue project of a kind family that eventually called HPS for assistance when the father lost his job and could not
bear the financial responsibility of a sick horse.
Granger arrived underweight, blind in his left eye, and with a weakness in his hindquarters. We believe
he has not been blind in his eye for very long because he is still adjusting to his impaired vision. He has gained weight
all his weight back plus some, and is no longer exhibiting any weakness in his limbs.
In the current photo he appears to be brownish/gray, we are interested to see what his coat will look
like after he sheds out now that he has had proper nutrition. Under his thick coarse forelock, he has a beautiful
white forehead.
