God Looks Down
By
Joan Benson
Too Many horses are in fields and barns starving and abused
. . . . . . The
owners do nothing for them.
Many people see the horses and the cruelty
. . . . . . They
do nothing for them.
God looks down and was angry
. . . . . . They
did nothing for them.
Then one stepped forward and they were saved many knew
. . . . . . But did nothing for then.
Many talked together, “What a shame, the owners should be punished,”
. . . . . . But
did nothing for them.
A few blessed
hearted step forward,
. . . . . . I
will make a difference for them.
Many saw, many talked, many stood by
. . . . . . and
did nothing for them.
Too many are like the abuser
. . . . . . doing nothing for them.
