Visitation Policies

For the safety of our members and all others who may visit the Horse Protection Society, we have set the following guidelines regarding visitation of the ranch:

• Any child, whether a member, visitor or someone touring the facility, must be accompanied and supervised by their parent or guardian at all times.

• If you are a volunteer and considering becoming a member, please limit your visits to the ranch to Saturdays only.

• Members of the Horse Protection Society are welcome any day during daylight hours.
• Members are allowed to bring adult guests, however; you must have each of your guests sign in on the “Visitors Sheet”.   If you plan to bring children, you must have a release form signed by a child's legal guardian before coming to the ranch.  Please bring the release form with you, and also sign each child in on the Visitor’s sheet.

    During your time at the ranch, should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to direct them to any of the HPS officers.   At any given time, there will be at least one, if not several officers available. (A list of officers is posted on the inside of the tack room door for reference.)   Please remember that the officers are generally responsible for the smooth operation of HPS and have invested a lot of time into the organization.  Consequently, they have gained experience and knowledge, and are best able to answer any questions which may arise.  Therefore, all members, visitors  and volunteers are to follow the edict of the Horse Protection Society officers at all times.
